ENGINEERING AND SCIENTIFIC CONSULTING OPERATIONS |
Welcome to ESCO Home. This page and its links describe our consulting operations and what MEIC can do to help you solve your engineering, scientific, and technology problems. In an ideal world, there should be no technical challenges that an organization or individual should face in a perfectly working manufacturing/production process or a finished product. However, as we all know, in the real world we face challenges that cannot be fully understood and explained by an experienced single pair of eyes alone. Such occurrences can be due to wear and tear, faulty material or finishes, product failure, etc, or a simple improvement in the existing product is needed that requires understanding of the engineering, science, and technology to be understood to achieve the overall objectives. At ESCO, we specialize in engineering, science, and technology of the system/product or material failure. We have knowledge and experience of implementing existing and developing new test protocols. Our team of engineers and scientists will get to the bottom of the assigned problem by performing necessary comprehensive technical investigations, often using highly specialized instruments and devices. Once such experimentation is completed and the results are analyzed, conclusions are drawn, and a technical report explaining the problem and the reasons behind it, in addition to expert conclusions, is prepared and submitted to the client. |
Our Team Associates: Senior Scientists/Scientists Ph D with M Tech or M Sc in Materials, Metallurgy, Physics or related subject and several years of experience in consulting, problem solving, and R&D. Engineering Staff: MS or BS in a relevant (to MEIC) engineering discipline with or without PE certification. Subjects Covered: Mechanical Engineering; Materials Engineering; Metallurgical Engineering; Electrical Engineering; Instrumentation Engineering; Chemistry; Physics; Nano-materials; Product Design and Evaluation; Non Destructive Testing (NDT); Stress and Strain Measurement; Sensors; Measurement and Field Testing |
Typical Examples: Failure analysis, corrosion, material composition, ceramic formulation and metallography, microstructure determination, manufacturing (residual) fatigue, pipe failure, duct corrosion, laminate failure, surface evaluation, color and texture, ceramic wafer failure, coating failure, evaluation of polymer based products, physical and chemical testing, non-destructive testing, fitness for purpose testing and useful life evaluation. Examples are boiler inspection, product testing and evaluation, pipeline inspection, structure, and integrity, field evaluation, product safety compliance, .etc.. |
